MNL48 is opening auditions for new members starting May 5, 2025! Under the vision of creating "a unit that embodies the power of talent and diversity," we are excited to welcome passionate individuals from the Philippines and around the world.

Since debuting in 2018, MNL48 has energized the Philippine music scene as a proud sister group of Japan’s AKB48. Now, we invite fresh talents to join us in shaping a dynamic, global future.

Audition Overview:

● Start Date: May 5, 2025

● Application Method: Online via www.mnl48.ph

● Initial Screening: Conducted online (full details to be posted soon)

Eligibility:

● Women aged 18 and above

● Passionate about singing, dancing, or performing

● Team-oriented and eager to learn

Preferred (But Not Required) Backgrounds:

● At least one-quarter heritage from outside the Philippines (no proof required)

● Over one year of living abroad

● Proficiency in languages other than English or Tagalog

● Graduate from a university overseas

We especially encourage applicants with multicultural backgrounds to showcase their unique talents. However, these criteria are not mandatory — diversity in all forms is welcome.

Successful candidates will receive professional training and have the chance to share MNL48’s appeal with fans across the globe. From Manila to New York, Tokyo to Toronto, we want to build a truly borderless idol group, where fans and members alike can be connected no matter where they are.
